Our Recommendations

Agni Bay
The picturesque bay of Agni is a favourite with locals and tourists alike and a definite favourite of ours is lunch at Taverna Agni spending the afternoon on the terrace overlooking the beach, sampling Eleni’s wonderful cooking and trying to keep up with Nathan, Alex and George zooming around. We would highly recommend a 'meze' which is a selection of dishes giving you a chance to sample a variety of different dishes - give the staff an idea of what you like and they'll give you suggestions to suit.. Taverna Agni certainly isn't cheap but the food, atmosphere and location cannot be beaten. As you get down to Agni Bay, Taverna Agni is farthest to the left. www.agni.gr
A Day Sailing
What better way to spend the day on your own private yacht. There are plenty of daily boat trips available but this one is definitely something a little bit different to the usual tourist trips. Think of a humorous and informative Captain Birdseye and you’ll get the perfect picture of the owner and skipper of the yacht, Scottish Ed. This private excursion takes a maximum of six and is reasonably priced for an exceptional day out. There’s plenty of room on board for lounging out and topping up your tan and snacks, drinks and lunch are all included in the price. Collecting you in the morning at a time to suit you, the Captain will take you out sailing along the beautiful coastline of the island with plenty of stops for a cooling swim and snorkel. Heading along the most picturesque part of the island, the north east coast, you will stop for lunch at Taverna Agni and sample the fantastic traditional cuisine on offer there, before heading out to sea for a spot of free sailing before heading back home late afternoon. A fantastic way to spend the day and Ed is superb company (but please don’t tell him we said that). www.DayTripsCorfu.com
Greek Night
This is a must! An evening full of entertainment ranging from traditional Greek dancing, bouzouki music and international acts, while feasting on good food and free flowing wine! Your chance to learn a few of the dance steps too!
Waterpark
Situated about 20 minutes drive away the water park is great for all ages. Lots of slides, a wonderfully relaxing lazy river, plenty of sunbathing areas and reasonably priced snack bars. Organised excursions are available to the water park but it is often a lot cheaper to get a taxi or hire a car and make your own way there.
Golf
Corfu has a superb golf course with a large practice ground and a putting green providing facilities for all categories of player. Carts, clubs and trolleys can be hired and the club is open seven days a week from 9.00 to 18.00 and is within a 15 minute drive from Dassia. Tel: 26610 94220.
