Brilliant pub, even though we didn't win the quiz! Met some fab people here and have great memories of Ken and staff, we'll definitely be back in the future. We were here 6 years ago and nothing has changed, hope everything is the same next time.

This bar really stands out in a quiet resort. Friendly and welcoming, the best selection of drinks, food is MAGIC - gave up a Thomson Platinum hotel to dine here!! Try the vindaloo and ceylon, the chef is a genius. Thanks to all.

Unfortunately we were only here for 7 days and didn't manage to come across this great friendly place until our 4th day. However, in the 3 evenings we spent here the ale, food and company was some of the best we have ever had on any holiday. We will recommend this pub to all our friends and family.

Ken & Sarah, we met you on our first holiday together and I can only say what a top couple you are. Our weather was disappointing to say the least, but thanks to Ken, Sarah, Rachel & Danny the holiday still turned out to be a great success. We were made to feel welcome from our first visit. I have eaten curries for 30 years and must say that Sarah's are right up there with the best of them. We've had 4 already! We arrived on the 19th September and to be honest, when we first arrived, there was a bit of gloom, due to where we were staying and the weather not being great. On our second day we walked into the highlight of our holiday - Great Shakes. The hospitality we received was first class to say the least. Compliments to the chef, the food was top class, especially the curries! Cannot imagine not discovering this place and I can quite comfortably say the best British bar/restaurant I have ever been in.
